Matt Wizeman

Associate Director of Program Development

Matt brings over 20 years of experience in high-tech fields including the design, development, and production of SWIR imaging products as well as semiconductor metrology and material handling systems to Princeton Infrared Technologies (PIRT).  In his role as Associate Director of Programs he is responsible for the efficient and effective execution of PIRT’s product and technology development programs.  Over the course of his career he has held the positions of product development engineer, manufacturing lead, business operations consultant, product manager and program management lead. In these roles Matt has delivered significant value-add business improvements to multiple organizations including 100% on-time shipment capability to Semilab USA LLC and an 85% average improvement in Earned At Completion (EAC) at Sensors Unlimited by leveraging continuous improvement methodologies.  Within the field of SWIR imaging, Matt has been responsible for the successful execution of company-funded programs for medical and machine vision products, as well as DoD contracts for ground-based, airborne, and soldier-mounted imagers.  These include the Sensors Unlimited 2048 linescan camera for Optical Coherence Tomography (IRAD), the 16 megapixel camera for the Office of Naval Research Spectral and Reconnaissance Imagery for Tactical Exploitation (SPRITE) program ($9.7M), and the SWIR sensor for the US Army IVAS program ($32M).  

Matt holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University, a Master of Business Administration from Bentley University and is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP).
